Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers with donated goods at our Williamsburg location. Requires at least a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent). No prior experience is required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• No driving requirement for this position.
• Candidate must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist customers with donations by greeting donors and helping unload vehicles without damage.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety.
• Ensure security of company assets and report suspicious activity.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor about donation area and customer issues.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment in interactions with customers.
