Job summary

Confident Care Homes’ Bassingham Care Centre seeks a part-time Domestic Assistant to support daily cleaning across resident rooms, communal spaces and bathrooms. The role is 30 hours per week (6 hours daily) with a weekend rota, and will include occasional holiday/sickness cover. A driving option or reliable transport is required due to local transport limitations.

DBS check is required and cost borne by the applicant. Knowledge of COSHH is desirable, with on-the-job training supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• DBS check required, cost to be met by applicant.
• Must be able to drive or have reliable transport to the home.
• Knowledge of COSHH would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Clean bathrooms and empty bins; vacuuming and general tidying.
• Assist with daily domestic tasks as part of a busy care home.
