Renaissance Care is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant for Kingsmills to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home for residents. You will work 45 hours per week, supporting daily activities and ensuring environments are tidy and comfortable.

The role values strong communication, attention to detail and a respectful approach to resident dignity and privacy, with ongoing learning and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a domestic assistant or care setting preferred.
• Understanding of COSHH, HACCP and infection control procedures desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms, en-suites and communal areas.
• Create a safe, welcoming and homely environment for residents and support daily activities as appropriate.
• Respect residents' dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Domestic Assistant, Kingsmills

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued.

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Kingsmills Care Home for 45 hours per week.

Within this role, we encourage candidates to build and develop meaningful relationships with residents and to include them, where possible, in daily activities that may interest them. These interactions provide great purpose for many residents and can have a positive impact on an individuals daily experience.

As a domestic assistant your role is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home to ensure residents environment is clean, tidy, homely and welcoming. This is inclusive of all personal rooms, en-suites and all communal areas including lounge, dining and bathrooms facilities.

Requirements

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role or sector and a good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures. You should be a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team but also feels confident working independently when needed. A keen eye for detail is essential, along with a respectful approach to maintaining our residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
