Job summary

Confident Care Homes’ Bassingham Care Centre seeks a part-time Domestic Assistant to support daily cleaning across resident rooms, communal spaces and bathrooms. The role is 30 hours per week (6 hours daily) with a weekend rota, and will include occasional holiday/sickness cover. A driving option or reliable transport is required due to local transport limitations.

DBS check is required and cost borne by the applicant. Knowledge of COSHH is desirable, with on-the-job training supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• DBS check required, cost to be met by applicant.
• Must be able to drive or have reliable transport to the home.
• Knowledge of COSHH would be an advantage.

Bassingham Care Centre LN5 9HE, part of Confident Care Homes, are seeking to appoint a part time Domestic Assistant for their busy care home for 30 hours per week (6 hrs per day)Monday-Sunday, weekends on a rota, with an option to cover holidays and sickness.

Domestic duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of residents rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, emptying bins, vacuuming etc. Knowledge of Coshh would be an advantage.

Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Must be able to drive or have reliable transport to the home as local transport to the village is poor and non existent on a Sunday.

DBS required, cost to be met by applicant, minimum wage £12.71 per hour.
