Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license or access to transportation for statewide travel.
• Background checks required.
• Flex schedule including mornings, evenings, and/or weekends; statewide travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, validating, and processing motor vehicle requests including title transfers, ID cards, licenses, registrations, permits, and accident reports.
• Determine correct fines/fees and process payments with cash, checks, cards; manage cash drawer and deposits.
• Inspect documents for accuracy to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers; provide guidance and explain regulations; de-escalate when needed.
• Assist supervisor and mentor staff; support training and process improvements as needed.
