Job summary

The State of New Hampshire’s Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Operations, seeks a part-time DMV Compliance Clerk in Manchester, NH. You will assist customers with licensing, registration, and related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while delivering courteous service.

The trainee status option, background checks, and flexible scheduling are available; occasional statewide travel may be required. This role does not provide health insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver’s license or access to transportation for statewide travel.
• Background investigation and fingerprinter checks required; may require flexible schedule and travel.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-rate customer service at DMV public counter.
• Reviews and validates documentation for licenses, registrations, permits, and related transactions.
• Processes payments, maintains cash drawer, and completes deposits.
• Ensures compliance with state/federal regulations and privacy requirements.
