Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and/or access to transportation.
• Other Requirements: Background investigation including motor vehicle record and fingerprint-based criminal record checks.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes a variety of motor vehicle requests, ensuring forms are complete and data is entered into DMV systems within timelines.
• Determines correct financial responsibility for fines/fees and taxes and processes payments.
• Inspects documents for accuracy to remain compliant with state and federal security standards and identify discrepancies or potential fraud.
• Handles a high-volume customer counter and explains complex regulations to the public in a clear, helpful manner.
• Attends and completes an intensive multi-week training program with weekly evaluations.
