Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license or access to transportation for statewide travel.
• Other Requirements: Background investigation including motor vehicle record and fingerprint-based criminal record checks.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of legal, state-specific regulations and documentation requirements in reviewing, validating, and processing motor vehicle requests such as title transfers, license, registrations, and related transactions.
• Collects payment via cash, check, money order, credit or debit card; manages cash drawer and daily petty cash; reports deposits to supervisor.
• Inspects and analyzes documents for accuracy to ensure compliance with state and federal standards; uses verification systems to check authenticity of documents and identify discrepancies.
