Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a part-time Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to support our community dining operations. You will help ensure our residents receive meals with clean dishware and well-maintained kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and organizing items, assisting kitchen staff during service, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior dishwasher or kitchen support experience is a plus, with weekend and holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to established protocols.
• Ensure cleaned items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors.
• Promptly remove trash and recyclables to keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails and sanitize food prep surfaces as needed.
• Support kitchen staff during meal prep and service by replenishing supplies.
