Job summary

Metrocare Services in Dallas seeks a part-time job coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. You will collaborate with CDDS and center staff to develop employment plans, motivate clients, and help them achieve personal and work goals.

Responsibilities include coaching on tasks, tracking progress, maintaining records, and communicating progress to teams. A degree in human services or related experience is required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in human services field or High School Diploma with 1-2 years experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or American Sign Language a plus.
• Basic math skills and ability to work with reports and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective job coaching and employment plans.
• Communicate with individuals to understand their goals and ambitions.
• Assist individuals to discover and overcome their personal barriers and set goals.
• Guide individuals in learning to complete job tasks.
• Monitor and evaluate progress of individuals.
• Keep records and documentation and prepare appropriate reports.
