Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional at our ORC House in Natrona Heights, PA. The role focuses on providing exceptional care to residents with complex needs, on a part-time, hourly basis.

Shifts include Saturday and Sunday from 6:30am to 3pm. Training is provided; background, physical, and drug screenings are required. Verland offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe environment
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities
• Record observations and daily progress notes
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Bathe, dress and assist with personal hygiene
• Housekeeping duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned
