Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a part-time DSP to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and mental health needs. You will perform direct caregiving, assist with daily living activities, and help individuals build skills in communication and socialization.

Shifts include Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. You will complete electronic documentation, ensure safety, and advocate for client rights in a respectful, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Age 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Must complete health screening (TB) per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goals per the individualized support plan.
• Provide ADL support (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding) as needed.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community activities and events.
• Complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy and maintain professional boundaries.
