Sevita's Mentor Community Services in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily routines, meals, and personal care, helping build independence and confidence. Starting pay is $19.65/hour with on-demand pay options and consistent evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of documented caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Able to pass required background checks
• Caregiving, CNA, childcare, or volunteer experience is a plus, but not required

Responsabilités

• Help individuals with everyday routines, meals, and personal care
• Administer medications after completing required training and certification
• Encourage independence and life skills, such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care
• Join individuals for outings, errands, and community activities
• Record daily notes and follow each person's support plan
• Build trusting relationships and be a steady presence individuals can count on
