Job summary

Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in Park Hills, MO is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time work supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.

Starting pay is $18.65/hour with on-demand pay available. You will help individuals with daily activities, personal goals, and community involvement, while documenting progress and following support plans closely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (or 5 years caregiving experience).
• Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with each person to build everyday skills like cooking, money management, and self-care.
• Provide personal care and support with meals with dignity and respect.
• Give medications safely once you've completed certification.
• Get out into the community together for work, appointments, shopping, and fun.
• Document progress and follow individual support plans closely.
• Be a consistent, trusted presence the people you support look forward to seeing.
