Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, in Perryville, MO, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for PRN/as-needed shifts. You’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home and community, helping with daily routines, meals, and personal care.

Starting pay is $18.65 per hour with On-Demand Pay available. We provide flexible scheduling, thorough paid training, and opportunities to move into part-time or full-time roles as openings arise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• High school diploma or GED (or 5 years of documented caregiving experience).
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving history, reliable vehicle.
• Pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep care consistent when shifts are needed.
• Support daily routines, meals, and personal care.
• Administer medications safely once certified.
• Assist with outings, appointments, and community activities.
• Follow support plans and document shifts accurately.
• Provide a calm, positive presence to those we support.
