Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Special Needs Caregivers in Mt. Airy, Pilot Mountain, Jonesville, Elkin, and King, NC. You will provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence and independence, and celebrate milestones.

Pay is $16.00/hr with weekly pay and flexible part-time schedules. Multiple shifts near home, plus benefits like medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) matching, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

What You'll Do as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
