Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, helping them participate in community activities and reach personal goals.

This role offers flexible part-time schedules, weekly pay, and a supportive team with comprehensive benefits, training, and opportunities to grow within a caring organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals in the following areas:

• Asheboro, NC and the surrounding areas!

What You'll Do as a Direct Support Professional:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

$15.00-$16.00 per hour

• Weekly pay
• Flexible part‑time schedules
• Multiple shifts available
• Work close to home
