Braverhood in Brooklyn is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home and community support for individuals with disabilities. Bilingual speakers of Spanish, Russian, and other languages are welcome. Hours are primarily afternoons and weekends as part of a compassionate care team.

Join our team of providers and help empower families, support daily living goals, and promote social integration while adhering to agency guidelines and local regulations.

Competenze

• Experience with the special needs community and helping clients integrate into society.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Online DSP training course to be completed after hire.
• Must be able to show up to work on time.

Mansioni

• Foster a positive environment to help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Work closely with Case Supervisors on monthly goals and action plans.
• Document services rendered and client progress daily and monthly.
• Provide support for individuals with disabilities in home and community settings.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training once a year.
• Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries on time.
• Adhere to agency and OPWDD regulations.
