Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide one-on-one support to recipients in their homes in Southeast Michigan. You will assist with daily activities, encourage skill-building, and help expand personal goals by taking clients into the community.

This role requires compassion, reliability, and strong communication to collaborate with care teams. Full- and part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling and paid training.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to recipients in their homes.
• Assist with skill-building activities and daily living tasks.

You will be working in our clients homes while supporting, encouraging and helping with skill building activities. You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
