Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will provide courteous, efficient table service, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and support daily meal service and special events in a community-focused environment.

You will assist with food preparation, cost control, and collaborate with team members to uphold Cedarhurst’s dining standards while ensuring resident wellbeing and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred; licensure is preferred if required by the state.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) and related digital tools noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils, following food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; dispose of trash and maintain daily checklists.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas and supporting cost-control through waste reduction.

Education
