Job summary

hrcapinc seeks a part-time Digital Literacy Coach to recruit, assess, enroll, coach, and train individuals in digital literacy and workforce readiness. The role supports Northstar and ACT WorkKeys programming across Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Hampton sites, with travel as needed and non-essential status during severe weather.

Responsibilities include facilitating curricula, coaching participants, and coordinating with LDSS and employers to improve employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of workforce development and adult learning principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to motivate and coach diverse individuals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and virtual learning platforms.
• Experience with outreach, recruitment, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible participants and oversee enrollment.
• Deliver Northstar Digital Literacy and related curricula.
• Facilitate ACT WorkKeys preparation workshops.
• Provide job search and career services, including resume and interview coaching.
• Maintain participant records and progress in EmpowOR.
