Job summary

Hampton Roads Community Action Program seeks a Digital Literacy Coach to recruit, assess, enroll, coach, and train participants in digital literacy and workplace readiness. The role centers on delivering Northstar curriculum, ACT WorkKeys prep, and workforce services to help participants gain employment and economic mobility.

Work locations include Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Hampton agency sites. Travel is expected locally; schedule includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce development and adult learning principles.
• Ability to coach individuals and manage caseloads.
• Experience with outreach, recruitment, and participant enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll participants and conduct eligibility assessments.
• Provide digital literacy instruction using Northstar curriculum and related programs.
• Deliver WorkKeys and NCRC preparation and coaching.
• Provide job search services, resume development, and interview coaching.
• Maintain participant documentation and case notes in the agency system.
