Job summary

The navigator will tailor support through in-person, phone, email, and video methods, track client progress, and help link people to low-cost internet and devices while promoting digital inclusion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email; able to learn new tools quickly.
• Clear communication skills and ability to document client interactions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Willingness to learn digital inclusion resources.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance.
• Assess clients' access to technology and set goals.
• Advise on low-cost internet options and assist with applications.
• Provide information on affordable devices and repair options.
• Coach clients to use internet services to meet priorities.
• Track progress and maintain records; report outcomes.
• Contribute to marketing and outreach for the program.
• Deliver occasional presentations to partners and clients.
