Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group in Maple Landing Assisted Living, Mapleton, UT 84664, is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals in accordance with menus and dietary guidelines. This on-site role offers $18 per hour in a health-care environment serving seniors.

You will work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services, supervise food preparation, maintain safety and hygiene, and participate in daily kitchen tasks and inventory to support resident nutrition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current/Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year dietary/food service supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements changes as required.
• Ensures that food procedures are followed per policy.
• Completes forms and reports for the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Establishes food service production line and ensures meals are prepared on time.
• Prepares and serves meals according to planned menus and diets.
• Maintains stock levels and ensures sanitary kitchen conditions.
