Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Coordinates with Dietitian/Director of Food Services on approved changes.
• Ensures procedures follow established policies and safety standards.
• Prepares meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Manages daily inventory and stocking of food and supplies.
