Christian Park Healthcare Center in Michigan is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations. You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, delivery, and sanitation to ensure nutritious meals in a clean and respectful environment for residents.

Responsibilities include following diet cards, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, operating food service equipment, and helping in setup and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience in institutional food service.
• Ability to read and follow diet cards and portion guidelines.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines, state and federal requirements.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, insuring safe food handling practices.
• Operates institutional food preparation equipment according to manufacturer and supervisory direction.
• Assembles diet trays for residents according to facility procedures, matching foods and drinks to diet cards.
