Christian-Care in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Dietary department by preparing meals, assisting with trays, and maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen areas. This non-exempt role reports to the Food Service Director and requires strong attention to safety and resident care.

The position involves meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, and adhering to sanitation policies. Evening and weekend availability may be required, with a focus on providing excellent customer service

Competenze

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions including some calculations.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and safe handling of equipment.
• Excellent patient/resident interaction and service orientation.

Mansioni

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages, snacks, salads, and desserts as directed.
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to dietary orders.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Bag and store food items as directed.
• Meal prep for next meal, including condiments, glasses, silverware, and cups.
• Bus and clean tables after mealtime throughout the facility.
• Scrape, wash, and rack unclean dishes and utensils.
• Operate the dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Keep logs for cleaning, temperature, and sanitation as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and supply needs to supervisor.
