Job summary

Providence Medford is seeking a part-time Diabetes Educator (24 hours per week, day schedule) to educate clients with diabetes of all ages in outpatient settings, collaborating with RNs and RDs to assess, plan, implement and evaluate education plans.

You’ll operate in a team-focused environment at Providence Ambulatory Services, with opportunities for professional development and community outreach as part of our mission to deliver patient-centered, whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Oregon Dietitian License upon hire.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian upon hire.
• Three years experience in diabetes education within last 2 years.
• Experience with adult learning theory in diabetes education.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients with diabetes of all ages using individualized plans.
• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate education plans with a team.
• Collaborate with RNs & RDs in outpatient settings.
