Job summary

Providence is seeking a part-time Diabetes Educator for the Medford OBGYN Health Center and Providence Medical Group Stewart Meadows. The role delivers diabetes education across ages, performing assessments, planning, and evaluation in outpatient settings with a team of RNs and RDs.

Requires Oregon Dietitian License, CDR RD, 3 years diabetes experience, and knowledge of adult learning theory. Preferred credentials in diabetes education and experience with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Oregon Dietitian License upon hire.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.
• Three (3) years experience in treatment and education of diabetes within the last 2 years.
• Experience with current adult learning theory in relation to diabetes education.
• Experience with the clinical management of diabetes.
