Providence Medford—OBGYN Health Center and Providence Medical Group Stewart Meadows is seeking a part-time Diabetes Educator to provide education for clients with diabetes. The role involves assessments, plan development, and collaboration with RNs and RDs in outpatient settings.

Qualified candidates will have Oregon Dietitian License, CDR-RD, and recent diabetes education experience, plus interest in adult learning and diabetes management. On-site work in Medford, OR.

Formación

• Oregon Dietitian License upon hire.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.
• Three (3) years experience in treatment and education of diabetes within the last 2 years.
• Experience with current adult learning theory in relation to diabetes education.
• Experience with the clinical management of diabetes.

Responsabilidades

• Educate clients with diabetes across ages per individualized plan.
• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate education plans with team.
• Engage in professional development and community outreach.
