Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong ability to build authentic relationships, and to engage comfortably and confidently in person with donors, board members, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfort using databases, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and other technology; nonprofit CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development Planning & Revenue Strategy: Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement an integrated development plan.
• Donor Engagement & Fundraising: Develop and implement strategies to recruit, cultivate, solicit, and retain donors.
• Fundraising Capacity & Organizational Engagement: Develop internal communications to equip staff, Board, and volunteers to support fundraising and donor engagement.
