Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant for Design Within Reach in New York. You will engage customers in-store and online, support sales processes, and help maintain presentation standards across the retail floor.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, building relationships, and collaborating with team members. Weekend and holiday availability are required; reporting to the Assistant Manager. Compensation includes benefits and a quarterly bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Background in Retail Sales or customer success preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with basic social media management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email and in-store to provide exceptional service.
• Monitor social media messages and add requests to client wish lists for out-of-stock items.
• Create social media stories and posts daily to drive customer engagement.
• Assist with sales support and post-sale follow up with warehouse or third-party delivery.
• Ensure all items on the sales floor are properly tagged and updated daily.
• Organize and restock the cash wrap area and filing receipts daily.
