Job summary

Tallahassee State College (TSC) is hiring a part-time OPS Dental Office Assistant to support the Dental Health Programs. The role Reports to the Dental Health Programs Chairs and involves clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties in a collaborative campus environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and perform duties of the Dental Clinic Coordinator as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years clerical/secretarial experience preferred in a post-secondary educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical, secretarial and administrative support of moderate scope and complexity.
• Assist program chairs and staff with operations of the Dental Health Programs.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments and respond to student inquiries.
• Handle email communications and mail processing.
• Assist with event preparations and coordination with campus departments.
• Perform printing, copying and data entry tasks.
