Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Deli Associate in Grand Rapids, MI to prepare, label and merchandise deli products. You will stock backroom, follow safety and cleaning guidelines, and work with teams across departments to meet guest experience standards.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma (GED) and about a year of retail experience, along with basic math and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products to production planner.
• Package and label deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with deli products, rotating and dating cases.
• Communicate tasks and steps to other associates.
• Follow PPE, safety, and cleaning guidelines.
