Job summary

SpartanNash, Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a part-time Deli Associate at 2181 Wealthy St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. You will bake, fry, package, and merchandise deli products, and help keep the department clean and well stocked.

The role emphasizes accuracy in pricing, dating, wrapping, and rotating stock, plus following safety, PPE, and guest experience guidelines. Prior retail experience is preferred; high school diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred).
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Bake, fry, package, display and stock deli products according to schedule.
• Price, date, wrap and bag deli products.
• Rotate and merchandise deli shelves, cases and displays.
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Assist in receiving, unloading and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-stocked department.
• Follow PPE, safety and guest experience guidelines.
