Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Deli Associate for our Gaylord, Michigan location. You will independently prepare, fry, package, display, and stock deli and bakery products while upholding guest experience and safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred), 1 year of retail experience, basic math skills, and strong attention to detail. No visa sponsorship is offered. This is a team-oriented environment in a typical retail store setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products as per plan.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products according to program.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products per flight plan.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli items with rotation and dating.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive store growth.
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager when supplies need ordering.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Communicate tasks and recipes clearly to associates.
• Perform other duties as needed.
