Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a part-time Deli Bakery Associate at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations. You will serve military personnel and their families with enthusiastic customer service while assisting in deli and bakery tasks, including slicing, decorating, and display stocking.

The role requires 18+ years old, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to cross-train in bakery and deli duties. All shifts include weekend coverage where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customers' requests.
• Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays and assist with shipments as needed.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safe food handling in the department.
