Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a part-time Deli Bakery Associate to serve military personnel and their families at one of our commissary locations. You will slice meats, prepare trays, stock displays, and help with bakery tasks while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong communication, basic math, and a willingness to cross-train. This role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift; team player.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slices deli meats and cheeses to customer requests.
• Prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organizes displays and assists with shipments.
• Ensures sanitation and proper food handling.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and handles stress.
• May assist with cake decorating or bakery tasks as needed.
