Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is seeking a Part‑time Day Porter in San Diego to keep commercial spaces clean and welcoming. You will perform routine cleaning, trash removal, and basic maintenance tasks at a retail center and other properties.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work outdoors. Schedule includes weekday afternoons and weekend shifts, with pay at $17.75 per hour and weekly payment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English or Spanish (written and verbal)
• Comfortable using a mobile device for timekeeping and review of documents
• Enjoy providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Able to work independently and outdoors
• Physically active with capacity to stand and walk for long periods
• Experience in janitorial/custodial/porter work is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high‑traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and sills.
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, graffiti.
• Walk the property to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
