Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a part-time Day Porter to keep our retail centers clean and welcoming. You will work Monday through Saturday, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with weekly pay at $18.47 per hour; the position is based in La Cañada Flintridge, CA.

As a Day Porter, you will sweep, mop, empty trash, restrooms, and exterior areas, report repairs, and interact with tenants in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Strong communication in English or Spanish.
• Familiar with using a mobile device for time keeping and documentation.
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Physically active and comfortable outdoors.
• Janitorial or porter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.
