LOT Commercial Property Services in Carlsbad, CA is hiring a part-time Day Porter to keep retail centers clean and welcoming. Your day includes cleaning, trash removal, restrooms, exterior doors and windows, and reporting maintenance needs.

This role supports our properties and requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently outdoors. Shifts are weekends 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, with $17.75 per hour and weekly pay, plus mileage reimbursement between properties.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English or Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Experience with mobile devices for timekeeping and document review is preferred.
• Friendly customer service mindset and professional conduct.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Physically active and comfortable working outdoors on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.
