ExcelGens, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Data Specialist to set up new customers, verify data, and resolve issues within established timelines.

The role requires strong data validation, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced remote environment. Responsibilities include monitoring orders, updating stakeholders, and escalating technical problems to IT/Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, with focus on responsive communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Proficient data validation, accuracy checks, and issue troubleshooting.
• Ability to monitor orders and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Clear communication with customers and internal teams, including status updates.
• Experience escalating technical or system issues to IT/Engineering when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customers in the system and establish their role in the platform.
• Reach out to customers to gather missing information and verify data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup issues using established guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisor on solutions for complex problems affecting multiple processes.
• Monitor 5–10 orders at a time and handle side projects as needed.
• Provide timely updates to requestors and maintain data accuracy across systems.
• Escalate technical issues to IT/Engineering and assist with resolution.
• Contribute to SOP updates and process improvements for a fast-paced remote environment.
