Job summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington campus is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach Data Analytics courses for the School of IT starting this upcoming Summer/Fall semester. The positions include DBMS 160, SDEV153, and SDEV265 with evening and day sections.

Adjuncts can teach 1–13 contact hours per week at $46.75 per contact hour. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis until filled, and instructors are expected to create engaging, standards-based learning experiences in line with college syllabi.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor’s degree in database, data analytics, information systems or related field, with documentation in two or more of the listed areas (certification, in-field experience, teaching excellence, research/publication, or additional coursework).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records and grades.
• Engages with students to promote inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and adheres to policies and FERPA.
