Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking adjunct instructors to teach course sections on a part-time, per-semester basis. Adjuncts create engaging learning environments, deliver instruction, and assess student progress within standard syllabi.

Positions are temporary and posted to build a pool for future openings. Applicants must reside in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, or Ohio and work from those states.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree or higher in database, data analytics, information systems or related field as appropriate to the program.
• Earned related or out‑of‑field master’s degree with 18 semester hours beyond introductory level in database, data analytics, or IS.
• Bachelor’s degree with two or more of: professional certification, two years in-field professional employment, teaching excellence evidence, research/publication, or 18 semester hours coursework.

Responsibilities

• PROGRAM OPERATION: Teach and facilitate student learning with syllabus aligned to course requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to assist and address concerns.
