Job summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington is seeking in-person, part-time adjunct instructors for the Business Administration program with daytime teaching flexibility. Adjunct faculty teach 1–13 contact hours per term, are paid $46.75 per contact hour, and work to create effective instruction and assessment within the college's standard syllabi.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, developing syllabi, maintaining records, engaging students, and following FERPA and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Master’s with 18 credits in business-related courses.
• Master’s with two or more listed in-field criteria (certifications, 3+ years).
• Bachelor’s with two or more criteria (certifications, experience, teaching evidence).

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes per college policy and course objectives.
• Use technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop/maintain syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and records.
• Engage with students to support learning and experience.
• Interact professionally and comply with policies and FERPA.
• Ensure classroom safety procedures are followed.
