Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in California. You will help customers, handle transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels. The role emphasizes friendly interactions, security of cash, and efficient merchandising in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position requires basic education and prior customer service experience. You will work in a physical store, perform lifting, and engage with customers and leadership to uphold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
