Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in California to assist customers, answer questions, and process sales at the register. You will help keep the store stocked, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with guests and team members.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
