Job summary

Dollar Tree in California is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, answer questions, and process transactions at the register, delivering a friendly shopping experience. You will assist with recommendations and ensure accurate cash handling while upholding store standards.

You will keep shelves stocked, receive merchandise, unload trucks when needed, and maintain cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
