Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Houston is seeking a Service Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed. Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes; maintain store recovery.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Support Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist with shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
