Job summary

Michaels in Houston, TX seeks a friendly Store Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will help shoppers locate products and participate in truck unloads and replenishment tasks.

Join a team that supports omnichannel services like BOPIS/SFS and helps maintain a well-merchandised store with safe, efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift and carry heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain a well-merchandised store and complete merchandise recovery.
